are there any graphics accelerators that would work in a Performa 5115?  This machine has one PDS slot.  Also, are there any nubus adapters for PDS slots that you can use for graphics accelerators or to add Vram?

The model you mention (5215) is not in existance.  You must be referring to the Macintosh Performa 5215CD.  (I don't think you are referring to the Performa 6115CD, because this model does not have an LC PDS.  The 5215CD has an LC PDS.)

According to my sources, there is only ONE company that manufacturers a graphics accelerator for your model.  That company is Micro Conversions, Inc.  The card is called a "Multi-Res PDS Video Card".  It is a 24-bit card (24-bits @ 17", 8-bits @ 21").

NOTE:  Your logic board is commonly advertised as a 630/6300-type board.  Models advertised as so all use an LC PDS.

You can probably find it at a lower cost, but here are a few places to consider:
  MacZone, 800-248-0800          #83490     $249.98
  MacMall, 800-222-2808          #83593     $248.99
  MacWarehouse, 800-255-6227     #DRI1650   $269

I hope this helps.

I called micro conversions a while ago to get info on their pds-video card and they said it wouldn't work on my computer, and that is was used to drive a second moniter.  I'm at a total loss now not knowing what else to do to improve graphics on my mac.  Your answer was excellent though, thanks!

I forgot to mention that there is no VRAM slots on the 5215.  This model dedicates 1MB DRAM to video functions.

Correction:  A 5115 does not exist; A 5215 does exist.

Response:
If you get the video card from MacWarehouse (ask them to do a competitive pricing with a cheaper company), install it in your Mac, and if it doesn't do what you think it does, MacWarehouse will gladly accept its return within 30 days.  They will pay for return shipping, as long as you ask them and tell them that the product doesn't perform as advertised.  They should also give you a full refund at that time.
Although I've never tried this, myself, I can say that it should work.  Yes, you CAN connect another monitor, but that's at your option.  Everything I've read suggests that it is compatible with your model.  The only problem that I can think of is if the card will fit in the case structure (not the slot) and if you can access the port hole.  I say this, because the 630/6300 is a desktop design, and your model is a one-piece design.
This is the only option/route available to you.  IMHO, you should try it, and see if it works.  If it does, GREAT!  If it doesn't, you will know.

P.S.  What kind of monitor (brand, model, size, etc.) do you have?

NOTE:
Always pay with a credit card.  You can do a credit card dispute, if there are any discrepancies that cannot be resolved by contacting the reseller.  The credit card company will do an investigation for you.  Refunds through credit cards should not take more than a week.
You cannot cancel a check after it's been processed.  If you have a problem with the product, you've already paid them, and they can screw you up the wall.  Refunds may or may not happen.  If it does, it can take a long time to process (in the range of six months).

I hope this helps.

The 5215 is one of those all in one cpu jobs, the moniter is a 15" shadow mask RGB - Thanks for the advise, I'm definately going to try Mac warehouse.  You're the king Jkjung!

Oops!  I wasn't thinking.  Of course you have a 15" monitor.  This is funny, because I just mentioned two paragraphs before that you have a one-piece model.  =)

Unfortunately, I don't have information on how the said-card affects video display and performance on your Mac.

Let me know what happens when you install it.
