reformatting a hard drive

I would like to reformat the hard drive of my Mac because it is locked. Is there any software available on the Net or in stores to do that?
I am also looking for the installation software for a modem Global Village Teleport 2. On the Global Village site, I have found only updates or upgrades but not the installation program itself.
Thanks
Stephane

Hi
You can get various drive formatting utilities from apples web site, these are also usually to be found on System Discs or magazine CDs. The most common one is "Drive Set up" which you can get at:

http://swupdates.info.apple.com/cgi-bin/http_lister.pl?Apple_Support_Area/Apple_Software_Updates/US/Macintosh/Utilities/Drive_Setup

For the teleport software, unless you have any friends or colleagues who can let you have a copy, I should try getting in touch with global village technical support.
