Image formats

I am looking for a function (in VC++) or a library that would be able to load and decode image files in BMP, GIF and JPEG formats (as VB function LoadPicture does).

However I have some reasons not to use the Microsoft ActiveX Image Control.

Thank you for any advice.

There is a CImage class you can use.

The CImage class ZIP file does contain a demo.
