where can i get drivers for a cabletron E2219 nic for linux.  If there are none out there can the E2100 drivers be modified for the E22xx

Is this card a PCI card? Or perhaps NE2000-compatible?

it is an isa non e-2000 compatible made by cabletron systems

Failing that, what are the names & numbers on the chips on the card?

recompile your kernel and
select Yes in development parts

also select yes in PCI bridge.
and NE2000 and cabletron nic devices

this must work in all cases.
