Register winsck.ocx and comctl32.ocx

I have 2 files winsck.ocx and comctl32.ocx that i need to run 2 different programs. They are in c:/windows/system. The problem is when i open the programs i get the error message component *.ocx not correctly registered: file is missing or invalid. I nkow these files are current and not corrupt. how can i "regster" them???

Use the redistributable file regsvr32.exe in your msdev\bin directory. Just execute it with the
parameter of the file to register:

  regsvr32.exe winsock.ocx
  regsvr32.exe comctl32.ocx

To unregister, use

  regsvr32.exe /u winsock.ocx
  regsvr32.exe /u comctl32.ocx

The source code of regsvr32.exe should be provided with your MSVC distribution. Search
the CD for regsvr32.mdp.

Perhaps your files could also be corrupted - regsvr32.exe should show a message in this case.

Thanks much. It worked perfectly. Found another way to register the file in regsrv32.exe too. Just drag and drop the .ocx onto the exe file and no dos prompt needed.... Thanks again
