when i upload my files to my isp, some of the pictures dont show up, the outline of them is there
but the icons are broken as if thierye a bad file, this only happens to some of them, I have tried uploading the whole directory to see if that would work......it dosent could you help me please.....Joe from Tennessee

If your ISP works with Unix and you prepare your website on a windows machine, then you have to be aware that Unix is case-sensitive and Windows is not.
So on windows <img src="image.gif"> and <img src="IMAGE.GIF"> are identical. On Unix it is not.

Pther than sybe's suggestion, there are couple more possibilities:

You may also be losing packets when they are getting sent, so you may have to ocassionally send one twice.

Also, if your server is a unix machine, you have to make sure that the permissions are sent properly.

Another possibility is that you sent it up in ascii mode instead of binary mode.  Be sure you send images in binary mode, and text files in ascii mode.
