Strptr Example

How can I access each character in string, I see a undocumented feature called strptr in VB 5.0.  How about a good example.

Didn't know about the StrPtr.  Looks to be that that function returns a memory address for the string.

You want to use a string function called "Mid$"

Example:
-----------------------------------

Sub LoopStr(S as String)

   Dim I as Integer

   For I = 1 To Len(S)

      MsgBox Mid$(S, I, 1)

   Next I

End Sub
-------------------------------

This routine iterates through each character in the string, and MsgBox's it to you, one at a time.
