Installing more memory in harddrive

Have W95 and just found out how to open the computer case (novice), would like to know if there is a step by step tutorial available or if there might be someone who could walk me thru installing a 4.3 gig Fujitsu harddrive as my primary harddrive?  I need explicit instructions.  Pictures would help. Thanks

Rather than type in a huge answer I will point you towards a couple of web sites.
http://www.hardwarecentral.com/hardware/hdrives/ provides a reasonable collection of pages that list the steps to follow installing a hard drive.
http://www.seagate.com/support/disc/iguides/atalist.shtml, is the Segate Corporation site it provides installation guides for Seagate drives but the basic principles apply to most drives.

Information on Fujitsu disks can be found at http://www.fcpa.com/product/prd_product_frame.html you can download info in PDF files which I suspect will contain information regarding jumper settings etc.

The most important thing to do before you start is to make a backup of anything you cannot easily re-install if something goes wrong.

It will take me time to truly rate the answer since I will have to apply the information offered.
