IBM and MAC floppy (3.5")diskettes:this is really simple

  I was wondering if it is possible to use a floppy disk (3.5") formatted for IBM for MAC?
   like can i take a formatted one and reformat it to MAC? or, does anyone know of a
   brand of diskettes that i can use for both IBM compatible and MAC computers? i would
   prefer if you were located in TEXAS, USA. thanks. i need the answer like in 1 hour

You can't buy a disk that is Mac & PC formatted.
You can reformat either to either though
you can get software for macs that allows you to read pc formatted disks though

um, do u know of a company that sells their diskettes unformatted, but can be formatted to either PC or MAC?

Disks are generally suplied formatted to save you time. If you want to format them to MAC/PC then you can.
Most manufacturers will supply unformatted disks cheaper than the formatted variety
