I updated my OS from Win95 to Win98 and everything seems to work well except when i shutdown the system i get a screen telling about preparing to shutdown my coputer after that it freezes. It happens not every time but often. The same i got when i restart the computer(not so often but it does) . Also Win98 sometimes likes to freeze one of the game which ran well in Win95.
I got Pentium 200 MMX with 32 RAM, ASUS TX97-XE smart ATX Mainboard.

Thanks for your help a lot!

are you on a network?   either way, go to run.  msinfo32
and from there run i believe it is system config. from the tools menu.    uncheck quick shutdown  under one of the tabs.  this may work.
