What is your intention ...
If you want to create a link using a serial cable, it is bether to use the windows 95 functionality. Interlink and interserve are PRE-Win95 functionalities ..
If you want to do it the hard way ... (using interlink) ...
Just activate interserve at the server side, connect the serial cable and activate interlink at the client side.
Using interlink, you can create a new driver-letter being a drive on your other PC.
