when I try to open a file which is followed by .RAR I get the "open with ..." box .please could someone tell what I do next?

Hello. Any files ending with .rar are compressed with the program  called WinRAR.... This is a program similar to Winzip but not compatible between the two. Search at http://www.winfiles.com/search and it should bring you to this program.
