Hi Scorpion. Im sure you are talking about MMers, Scrollers, Punters, and all the other lame stuff with AOL :)  Well I'll help you. Sendtext is just a command to send the text to the chat, and all you have to do is type
Sendtext "This is Stupid".
Im sure you already knew that though.  You have to subclass the chatroom, and here is a code that will get you going. Study it and learn about it! -Snell

Sub sendtext (TextToSend$)

aol% = FindWindow("AOL Frame25", 0&)
chatlist% = findchildbyclass(aol%, "_AOL_Listbox")
chatwin% = GetParent(chatlist%) 'all this locates the chat
ChatVew% = findchildbyclass(chatwin%, "_AOL_View")
chatedit% = findchildbyclass(chatwin%, "_AOL_Edit")
sndtext% = SendMessageByString(chatedit%, WM_SETTEXT, 0, TextToSend$) 'finds the text you want to send
SendNow% = Sendmessagebynum(chatedit%, WM_CHAR, &HD, 0)  'finds the send button
'Call Click(ChatSend%)  'sends it!
timeout .000001

End Sub

Just keep learning! It'll come to ya. All that Aol% =  stuff is classifying.  See, I had to classify the chatroom before i could send it to there!  IF i didnt classify the chatroom, how would it know where to send the text? You learn though, and get people to help you online (private rooms vb - vb5, vb help, etc.)
