Netscape 4.05 wont Return Receipt
when i send email with a return receipt request i get an error that says our smtp server
cant handle it and
so it sends with no return receipt. We were using pegasus before with no problems. Our
server runs
Solaris 2.6. HELP??!!??

Wait a second - we seem to have a small divergence in terms here. You say you changed "pop clients". I think you are referring to pop servers, since pop clients would be any programs you'd be using to access your email (Netscape, Eudora and what not). So I suppose you changed pop servers. Again, the error you are receiving ("our smtp server can't handle it") indicates a problem with the sendmail (or other smtp server you may be using). Please make your scenario clearer, perhaps including the whole setup and the whole error message you are getting.

Yes small. We didn't change servers, only clients.

on solaris 2.6
it worked with other clients but not netscape.

We haven't changed servers, just pop clients. we were getting return receipts but not with
netscape clients. if the sendmail change is necessary, is there a source for that package that
you know of?
