I am using Outlook97 AND Exchange Server to connect to our NT v4.0 Network. Each of our Macs have multiple users.  In order to allow each user to login to get mail they need to run outlook setup and put there name in or their mail folder will not open.  I can delete the exchange profile but much to complicated for our users to do each time and combersom to make a apple script deleteing it every time.   Any way to allow a different user to login to Outlook97 mail without going through these hassels?

When you double click the icon in the microsoft outlook if you only see a window that prompts you for a user, domain and password, you have to do some changes to enabled this program for multiple users, because you are using one profile for everyone in the network, or if you want to enable multiple profiles for multiple user login to outlook with your domain exchange administrador account and then go to options click in the tab general and in the Frame named When Microsoft Outlook Starts select the option Prompted for a profile to be used, every user that logins for first time in this machine have to create their own profile, in other cases if you activate this option the user has only to select their own profile in the first combo box .

If you have already a window that prompts you for a Profile name, and if is the first time you login in this machine you have to choose the button new, later when you are ask about create a profile automtically or manually choose manually then put Your Name in the next box like Mr. Albuja, then you go to a window that ask you about services, pickup add and then Microsoft Exchange server in the next window put the name of the server and the name of the mailbox of the user you are creating, then in connection choose the conection you are using appletalk with a zone or tcp/ip when you done this click Ok twice and you are in the first window with you're name in the profile name then choose ok and you are prompt for user, domain and password, and you are login in your account in exchange

The only way i see is going to the outlook settings(where outlook are installed in the HD) and erase all the profiles and setting only one profile and every time the person who needs to read the email wants to login have to go to the outlook settings, in the tab Services Highlight the Microsoft Exchange Server and the click Properties, and in the window Properties change the mailbox to the user who wants to login

I'm so sorry about my english but i'm from Ecuador and here we talk spanish
