System.ini freezes before booting win 95 reporting a missing or Ntkern.vxd press any key to continue.  So far, the sytem works.  But I also get a long delay and an unreadable error message before the press function 2 to get into Setup message.  I have seen lots of questions about this driver but no answers.  Please help.  Thanks,

Hi,

Search for the command pointing to this file in your sysedit files and place a ; in front of it to render it null.  If you system operates normally with this command silented, you probably don't need it.

Tell me how this works.

You might want to try either of these 2 things (Only if you have OSR2)
Download the Universal Serial Bus update
http://www.keydata-pc.com/drivers/usbsupp.exe

or you might try

1. Go to START; Settings; Control Panel; Add/Remove Programs.

2. In the list, double click on USB Supplement for OSR2.

3. Click YES to restart the system.

Hope this helps out...

Thanks Cmcgee

Removing the USB driver seemed to work.  What IS the USB supplement?  Is it a super dooper serial port driver?
