Hi,
I 've created an app that can paly and record wave file.

And I want to make a sound bar that can display the intensity of the sound whenever playing and recording just like any record/play application provided by sound card.

How can I do that ??? The green, yellow and red bar seems difficult to make !?
Can I do that by simply calling API ???

Thank you!

Look into my article at CodeGuru.

The Program 3. Wave Meter is what you want. You can easily do the same thing with the recording.
