perl search script

i had two site on two different host and one allow cgi access but the other don't
is there a simple search script that can be use to search both site?

That depends on your search script, if you can give us some parts of the code, or if it is not too big, the entire search engine, I should be able to help you conquer this mountain and rule the world!...

.or at least fix this bug anyway.

i use the simple search script from Matt's Script Archive if that help

It all depends on what you're actually searching for. It's best to keep a listing of all the files on the CGI-allowing server, and all the files on the other one. In this way, you can search through everything, and access everything.

However, if this is not possible, mail me a copy of the script to tomsmailinglists@powernet.com, and i'll see if i can adjust it so it will work. Please also supply the url's for it if online.
