Modules should be used as a sort of function library that contains commonly used functions.  For example, I have a module that has quite a few of the WinAPI function calls in a VB Friendly method.

Classes should be used to encapsulate an 'object'... They are kind of like User Defined Types, except that instead of just storing data, a class can have methods and invoke events.

For Example:

If you had an application where you wanted to store customer information.  This would be a good place to utilize a class.

I can send you an example of a generic class for a person and I think you will get the idea.
