Is there a way to make files like .dll's that can store a number of pictures or sounds for your program?

Dll's are not exactly meant for this purpose, but yes, you can create a dll with a form in it, put some pictures on the form, and create a procedure that will return reference to the picture. Even better, put the pictures and the sounds inside a resource file, and put it in the dll, or eveb better directly into the EXE

First you must create a resource file (.RES). IF you have Visual C++ or Visual J++, you have the resource editor built in. If not, go to www.shareware.com and search for 'Resource Editor'. After you build the resource file, you simple add it to your project, and it's being compiled into the .EXE
