I have a Red Hat Linux server configured as a e-mail server.
I want to configure this server as a POP3 Server. Now in a
answer to previous question some expert has said that the
POP3 server is available as a standard package with the orig. distribution. The distibution I have does not have that server. So I want to know the place where I can download the POP3 server. Can anyone help me please?

First, it is very strange your distribution not to have the pop3 server.

Anyway, you can download the file pop3d-1.005l.tar.gz from SunSite UNC ftp:

ftp address: sunsite.unc.edu

Look in the folder /pub/Linux/system/mail/pop

Hi fmismetti

Sure the distribution I have does not the required RPM. Also the sunsite is not having the required RPM. But I found the required RPM at the RedHat ftp site.

Thanks for responding..
