Sounds like the person's page you are visiting either has some dodgy javascripts that your Mac doesn't like. However, I need more information. What web page is it and what version of Netscape/IE are you using? What version of the MacOS system software do you have?

I had a similar problem on a 7200. Try moving to a newer version of Navigator (3 or 4)
(you can download it for free from www.netscape.com)

The main problem is that the browser you are using may or may not be an older browser.  Try running a better version.  This could slov the problem because its been made to solve more problems.  You're computer could also be receiving bad language that it doen't read.
Or else you computer is running out of memory and doesn'y have enough memory to tell you.
