easiest way to conect a powerbook3400 to an imac?

Anyone know of an easy way to connect the pb3400c to an imac both systems also have
infrared but i have no idea how it works, I would feel safer with some kind of cable
connection anyhow. Thanx in advance...

use an ethernet cable. you will need to get a crossover 10Base-t cable so you dont need a hub. if you ask your local mac shop they will be able to show you exactly what you need. But basically you only need an ethernet cable. (BTW ethernet constitutes a network so make sure all the right controll panels and extensions are there)
