I need to change a NT machine running WinGate with a Linux machine, but I need the same services that WinGate give me under Linux too.
How can I setup my linux RedHat 5.1 to perform the WinGate's job ?

The details are too long to explain here. I would suggest you to
follow this link to have all the information you need in order to
setup what you want.
http://sunsite.unc.edu/LDP/HOWTO/mini/IP-Masquerade.html
The official Linux site also offers other documents related to the setup of a firewall/proxy. Please check www.linux.org/help/index.html. Read the HOWTO and Mini-HOWTO.
