ActiveX and Netscape

Can I insert ACtiveX controls into a web page which will be viewed correctly under Netscape browsers, or is Javascripts the only real option

ActiveX components do not run in Netscape unless you have a plugin from another company... The name ecsapes me right now... EnCompass? maybe?  But it you have the plugin, they will work.

The Plugin is called CaptiveX from NCompass Software
