We are using APEX True DBGrid Pro 5.0  in one of the applications. The application  "Unknown Object , Automation Error, Error Number 2147417848".

Some of the machines also give "Compile error : Function or interface marked as restricted , or the function uses an Automation type not supported in Visual Basic" while running the code.

Could thers errors mean the same ? What are these error about ?

automation error means tha the link with an OLE2 object or activex has been broken

for the "Unknown Object",  you should try to give all the complete reference (ex : not Database but DAO.database)
