Every time Windows 98 boots up on my new hard disk it says it is running Windows for the first time, and takes an age to load.  Previously I loaded Win98 without problem, and it loaded 10 times faster.  I also have a driver problem with my keyboard !!!!????  Any ideas ?  Once booted everything works fine.

boot your system to a dos prompt and then type scanreg it should check your registry and if any problems found, try and correct them by it's self....
