obtaining NT logon

Is it possible to obtain the NT user logon in an asp application.  I am developing an asp application and write entries to a database, but also need to record the NT logon of the person making the db updates.  If its possible, can anyone tell me how.  Thanks.

The NT logon user can be obtained by:
Request.ServerVariables("LOGON_USER")
