HTML Frame Sets

I have WebPageA that does not contain frames.  WebPageB contains frame set.  If I go to WebPageB from A and then link to A from one of the frames in B, it does not remove the frame set, it simply loads A in the frame of WebPageB.  Any suggestions on how to remove the frame?

set the target in the link thus
<A target="_top" href="WebPageA.htm">Go To A</A>
and WebPageA will appear in the whole browser window
