seti,

this can not be done by just switching some registry setting. Perhaps (!!!) you can do it by programming a shell extension (interface "IContextMenu") with some heavy manipulations but I'm not sure if that works, either.

seti,

I'm currently working on a little context menu shell extension. Today I tried to remove the "delete" menu item from the explorer context menus (that is what you asked for). It's a little bit tricky but it works!
If you give me your eMail I'll send you this DLL. If you have this DLL you'll have to copy it to your "c:\windows\system" directory and then register it on your computer by running "c:\windows\system\regsvr32.exe" with parameter "c:\windows\system\flxShExt.dll".

Regards, Madshi.
