DirectX by Hori - correction..

I don't know how to show background picture on the
dxdraw surface where you can than show sprites etc... (Like in games....background picture and than all things are happening on it.)

You need to have a separate Image that will hold the background image and is set to alClient
I think it's better than draw it on the form's canvas since it will be deleted eveytime simothing move over the background...Even if you have your drawing in the OnPaint() of the form it will be repainted, but since the image is large, it will flicker a lot.....
