Hi

I am having an odd problem with a translation in Notes 4.5
The server is installed in english but, some workstations are installed in spanish.

When a user sends a spanish character (áéíóúñ)  in a mail that is routed via internet the character apears without the accent and the word breaks two lines in the place where the special character should be

This doesn't happen when the user sends mail specifying that the recipient is a notes client.

any suggestions?

Check in the Settings for the SMPT-MTA in Transport Configuration if Transfer Mode is set to 8 Bit.
