wav player while installing program

need complete code,  with details, on how (in vb4 32bit) to play a specified wav file while 2 disks of a program are being loaded to a harddrive. Must be activated in the setup file on disk 1
Must also be able to Detect audio card and if not present   continue, if present ...play wav

I don't know a code that can do it with VB4.0
You can do this:
Make a VB program that will run 2 programs:
1. play wav file
 Check http://www.hili.com/~shay/link/vbcorner.htm for code.

2.run the setup program.

I hope it gives you direction.

Hi,

It is not recommended to run any program or have any application running (except one that monitoring your installation) while you setup.

I guess it is better to have good code than good gizmo.

Take me advice.
