can i use an windows API in my vbscript??If so give an example also!!

No and Yes actually.
For security reason you can not use the windows API in vbscript in a browser.
The reason I said yes is because in regular VBScript (within Microsoft Office) you can use the APIs.

I have a problem with respect to browsers and not with MS Office

Like I said no you can not use Win APIs from within a Browser.
