ERROR S1000 ODBC SQL SERVER DRIVER PROTOCOL ERROR IN TDS STREAM

I HAVE A MICROSOFT BACKOFFICE SMALL BUSINESS SERVER INSTALLED WITH SQL SERVER 6.5 .
DURING THE APPLICATION THE SYSTEM GIVE ERROR :
S1000 MICROSOFT ODBC SQL SERVER DRIVER PROTOCOL ERROR IN TDS STREAM.
HOW CAN RESOLVE THIS PROBLEMS?
HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!!

I had the same problem, randomly, until I upgraded to a later version of the odbc drivers. You can get them by downloading the latest version of MDAC from www.microsoft.com/data
