GAS,

   Try disabling FastShutdown.  This error seems to be related to FastShutdown or your sound drivers.  

If fastshutdown doesn't work, disable your shutdown sound.  If that stops the error, it is related to your soundcard.  

Make sure you have the latest drivers for the sound card or uninstall and reinstall them.
