I'm using EnumWinProc, what is the api to test if a given
hwnd has focus. Or is there an api that can return the
hwnd of the window that has current focus.

You can use Win API "GetActiveWindow".  It obtains the handle of the active window, and it works with Win95 and WinNT.  I've been using this API several times.  It works fine.
