Does anyone have a clue why my computer crach every time
I use my Orchid Voodoo2 12meg card.
The games I use finds the card, and the 3DFX logo spinn's.
But when I try for example to run Timedemo Demo2 in Quake,
it completely locks up. Windows detects my card and says
every thing works fine. Have also tried diffrent drivers.
I have got an AMD K6-233 with 80meg ram. Have tried to change 3d card with my friend wich has a card just like me.(didn't work), have tried to change Monitor, change memory, diffrend Windows versions, change 2d card.
I have tried everything. I have the same problem in Linux,
so it is a Hardware problem. Sorry about the long question,
but I really have a problem here.....Plese answer.

Contact the manufacturer and find out if they've got any diagnostic programs you can run against the card.  Sometimes (unfortunately), some cards are just incompatible with the bios of the machine they're on.  If this goes on for more than a month, I'd try to sell the card and get another one. Make sure the company has a 30-day no-questions-asked return policy so you can exchange until you find the right card.

BTW, you said you tried the same exact card from a from and it didn't work either?  Is it working in HIS machine?  Is his machine the same make/model as yours?
