The printer works in the color mode, but the printout is only black and white?

I have printed, in colour on my HP Deskjet, from OS/2 Warp 3.
I was _NOT_ using MS Word; I used a "native" OS/2 application.

See HP's web-page for the DeskJet 540, at:
http://www.hp.com/cposupport/prodhome/dj540.html
and download the latest Device Driver software,
and install it.

and download the 'DeskJet 540' software.

Hi,

please try for me this sequence of commands
on OS/2 with WIN-OS/2:

  WindowsProgramme
    ProgrammManager
      Win-OS/2-Zubehör
        PaintBrushPicture
          Utensilie 'abc'
          Palette red
            'This Text is red'
          Datei
            drucken
              [ok]
        Datei
          beenden
            [nein]
      Schliessen
    Win-OS/2 beenden
      [ok]
  Scliessen

now i am interessed what happens in your system:
- the print out ist a black  - color mixed -  text?
+ you too! that i have mean in my first mail.
- the print out is red text?
+ wich port you have connect in WIN-OS/2?
                        OS/2?
+ wich driver you have installed in WIN-OS/2
  + in OS/2 i have install the omni.drv  23.01.98 08.09.20,
     witch you have propose me.
In general, my problem is:
+ what is to do, to receive a correct red text printout?

Best Regards
