Pagemaker 5 convert to PC file

I desperately need to convert a Pagemaker 5 file into a format that can be read by a PC application like Word 97 or Wordpro...please help!
1 Solution
I would suggest using Adobe's Acrobat Exchange to create a PDF document of the Pagemaker file. Then your PC counterparts would be able to open that file with the Acrobat Reader. I think Pagemaker 6+ will allow you to create a pdf file directly in Pagemaker.

If you just want the text, you can "export" the text as a Word File from Pagemaker.

I don't know of any conversion utility/app that allows Word to read Pagemaker files, and I'm pretty sure there isn't such a thing.

Your options:
1) Create a PDF file of Pagemaker Document with Acrobat or within Pagemaker 6+(you would still need Exchange/Distiller).
2) Have your PC users get a copy of Pagemaker for Windows.

3) Export all the text out of the file. (Highlight all text, choose "export" from menu). Save as a Word file. Reconstruct the layout in Microsoft Word.
