Internet & Excel

Hi,
I would like to know what the possibilities are for Excel/Web Interfacing. For instance, how could you update an excel spreadsheet and then view this on a web page (other than converting Excel s-sheet to Access using ASP)?
Is it possible to download spreadsheets from a server?
Thanks,
Mike

Get an Excel plugin
http://home.netscape.com/plugins/business_and_utilities.html
or Excel can be accessed by an ODBC driver so you can write any CGI/ASP type stuff using ODBC to access Excel.
You may also be able to use JDBC but I'm not too sure whether Excel drivers are available.
You can download spreadsheets from a server, just as you can download any file...point a link at the file and the user will get the chance to save it to the local disk.

Thanks - I like the ASP alternative, but the www site is for Netscape browsers only (correct me if I'm wrong) while we use IE 3.02. Do you know of a similar site but for IE?
