I am a web developer who needs a job. I'll take an entry level HTML programming position.

How do I get my foot in the door? I've got my resume posted all over the net at recruitment centers.

Any advice?

It's not WHAT you know, it's WHO you know.

I went through this same ordeal (posting resumes, recruiters...etc.) and got NOWHERE. I then realized that waiting for the companies to contact me was fruitless (well, I was contacted, but only by low-paying, uninteresting recruiters).

The solution for me was to go find the job I wanted..and take it. Call companies you would be interested in working for.  Ask them directly. Maybe get to know their work and tell them that you can really help.

Remember, web developers have the best job out there. Be patient and enjoy what you find.
