Are there any power PC upgrades for the 637 performa. If so who makes them.

Nope. The best you could hope for would be a faster 68040 upgrade, but that would not be very cost effective (even if it exists) as your machine is only worth about $200.00 on a really good day and upgrade cards tend to increase the kludge factor (oddball errors). Since the P637 was not Apples's best effort, I would sell it or keep it as a spare.

Upgrade paths can be found in the back pages of MacWorld, MacAddict, etc. Most of the sellers are reputable.

The following PPC machines are worth owning:
7500/100 - 601  CPU
8600/any - 604e CPU
9600/any - 604e CPU
