2nd. Do you get the image when you scan? Can you save if you use the scanner software directly? If so, does the image look ok when you pull it up in, say, paintbrush, or Photo Editor?

If that is all Ok, try printing from paintbrush or Photo Editor.

I assume you mean "Adobe" - - are you running Exchange? Is the Adobe printer installed? Does *IT* print?

Thanks mark2150.Yes the image scans.In my Dexxa s/ware i've tried selecting the destination to clipboard and file.When in clipboard i can't get it to go to my "hold photo'' section of my Adobe Photo Deluxe V 1.0 { that came with the scanner } so i can edit it.When i've selected it to go to file i can't retrieve it either through Adobe or through "my computer'' { just to see if it worked } Sometimes it locks my computer up or says it can't produce the file !? I'm using a lower resolution for now,10 meg.Is this too big ? This is a new scanner and cannot get support from the manuf. Thx. for the help.

Yes, 10Mb is WAYYYY too big. Turn down your scan resolution and the color depth and things should start working. You're just clobbering the system with a 10Mb scan file!

Make sure you have plenty of HD space available.

How much RAM do you have?

Thx.for getting back to me AGAIN ! I have a new PII 266, 32 mg. ram w/ 3 gig. of aval. hd.I just discovered a fix.After reloading everthing i also loaded the floppy instead of the cd and everything worked !! It automaticly sends the scan to Adobe' when destination is set to ''application''.I thought if you got a cd w/new s/ware you didn't need the floppy !?Now my printer won't print it properly !!It's been fine till i started scanning,It's brand new too ! Canon says it's prob. a conflict w/my win98 and their older printer drivers.So i downloaded their new ones from their web and it's not working !! They say this is happening a lot but their out of disks to send me !! Take a week and a half !! Just when i got my scanner working.Thx.again for the help.Any thoughts on my latest dillema ? D.R.
