HOW CAN I AVOID THIS PROBLEM:
MY VIRUSSCANNER GIVES THE MESSAGES:
NON CRITICAL ERROR CAN NOT SCAN BOOTSECTOR OF DRIVE "X"
I USE BOTH WINDOWS 95 AND WINDOWS 98 ON EACH SYSTEM THAT
I HAVE AND THE 2 PC'S HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE
MACAFEE VIRUS SCANNER.MY SYSTEMS ARE ALL 100% VIRUS FREE!!

This is normal if you're using FAT32.MCAFEE may have an updated version that works on the FAT32 boot sector,but this will work for the version you have:

Modify the line that calls the virus scan (probably in Autoexec.bat) - add /NODDA , and if it exists,remove /BOOT.
