Modifying FP98 Formatting Toolbar

Hi everybody,

is it possible to modify the contents of the very left dropdown menu on the formatting toolbar of FP98 Editor where in principle the HTML tags with friendly names can be found (Heading 1, Numbered List and so on ...) ?
If yes, please tell me how !!!!!

Any hint is appreciated

You can add your own commands and menues to FP98 by changing the windows Registery. Use regedit. To get to the existing menues look under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\FRONTPAGE\EDITOR\INITMENUES. that gets you the menues in editor. For explorer type EXPLORER instead of EDITOR.
It takes about 3 pages to describe just how to modify. See a book on the register. Back it up before modifying it.

Hi,

with these registry entries I can only add menu itmes to the menubar, but not the formatting toolbar as I understand from the FP SDK documentation.

So thats not what I was looking for. But I have the feeling that the modification of the style drop down list is simply not possible. Thats the reason I accept this answer.

Thanks anyway for answering !!
