It doesn't matter what paper is in the printer. &nbsp;The problem is the printer is expecting a certain thickness (letter or envelope) based on software settings. &nbsp;For example if you are trying to print an envelope go to the cannon window and click on properties. &nbsp;On size and source pick an actual envelope size, rather than &quot;custom&quot;. &nbsp;<br />

In your word processing program go to page setup and change &quot;source&quot; to envelope feed. &nbsp;This should work. &nbsp;(Do the oposite if the computer is expecting an envelope and you are trying to print on regular paper. &nbsp; &nbsp;<br />

In your word processing program go to page setup and change "source" to envelope feed.  This should work.  (Do the oposite if the computer is expecting an envelope and you are trying to print on regular paper.
