Epson StylusRIP software

I have an Epson Stylus 1520 connected via the printer port to an Apple
8100/80. I am using the StylusRIP software with this printer.

I went into the StylusRIP server application and switched on the Raster
spool option, in order to try and increase the print speed. It came up
with a message saying that the StylusRIP server had to be restarted
for the changes to take effect. However, now when I try to start the
StylusRIP server, it comes up with an error message saying that the
StylusRIP server can't start due to an unexpected error. When I then
click OK, the machine crashes and had to be restarted.

PLEASE help as we need to use this printer this weekend for a
presentation on Monday!

Thank you so very much.

If the above is no solution

Then move your preferences folder out of the system folder and restart.
Reconfigure your printer and RIP software.
Try to print.
If this works
Move the preferences you need back into the new preferences folder in the system folder.
