Add Remove Program List

In the Add Remove Program on Control Panel  there are
programs that do not exist, yet they are still in that
option remove field,  How do I erase or clean up  the
Add Remove Program option field?

The thing to do is to download and install TweakUI from Microsoft.  You can also find it at www.winfiles.com under Windows Shareware/Win95/98 apps/shell and desktop/power toys section.  These "ghost entries" can happen from not uninstalling the software properly, or by using the software's own uninstall feature rather than Windows' add/remove programs feature.  TweakUI has a feature to remove those entries from that field.
