I have just installed a LAN where the epson is one of the printers as a option. But this printer will not print over the network.I'm using Microsoft File and Printer Sharing network. Any printer should be able to print in this situation, this printer will only print from the computer it is connected to.I also use the HP IIp it works fine over the network.

Are you seeing jobs in the queue?

What happens when you submit a job. Any error messages?

Is print sharing on on the computer that the printer is attached to?

Many printers are like this.  I just had the same problem with an Okidata.  It is NOT true that any printer should be able to print in this situation.  Some printers that use status monitors, like the epson, take control of the port and do not allow capuring or redirection.  That is why it will print locally fine.  There are 2 things you can do to solve the problem.
1- find out if your specific type of printer will print using an HP or plc driver.  If so, load this driver locally and share it out.  You must use the same driver on your network computers.  Problem with this is you will lose color capability.
2- Call Epson and ask them whats the workaround for this problem based on your exact model # of Stylus.  Also, downloading the latest win95 drivers for your printer from epsons web site may also work.  I would call epson first.
